New samsung Washing Machine certainly not Content Spinning

My Samsung J845 is not spinning properly.

This article is written in conjuction with a previous Samsung Error articles.
Please read that for further help.
One of our readers wrote to us recently to explain about some machine function test they carried out and kindly agreed to have that article published here.

I can confirm that Test mode works for Samsung J845 (and most likely J1045) as described above, plus extra tests. On this model do the following.
1. Power off.
2. Hold down Temperature and Rinse buttons and power on via power button.
3 All lights come on, then ‘t1′ shows on display.
4. Press ‘Start / Pause’ button to start the test or press ‘Delay Start’ repeatedly to scroll through the various tests. t1 – t7. t1 & t2 = tests as described above. t 3 – t7 are various wash cycles of the machine. Press Start / Pause button starts the test on display. Note: once started, test will keep repeating until you power off.

However, I also discovered another feature using similar to above which can be used to make the machine spin.
1. Power off
2. Hold down Rinse and Spin buttons and power on via power button.
3 All lights come on, then ‘J 08′ shows on display.
4. Press Start / Pause and a ‘U’ with an extra horizontal line half way up displays. Moments later the machine will start filling up. This is one of the 4 tests. Press Power button to stop.
5. Pressing Start / Pause button will take you through ‘U’ as described above, -> ‘UH’-> ‘L’ -> ‘S’
6 ‘S’ will drain the machine if any water and then spin the machine.
***Be Warned: This spin cycle seems to over ride any unbalance mechanism and regardless of load, the machine will gradually spin all the way up to 800 rpm and stay there until Start / Pause is pressed again or Power switch is pressed. This will put strain on the machine but if used wisely will get around the issue where the machine gets hung up on the Spin cycle of the machine, leaving clothes dripping wet. I would not let the machine spin for more than 2 – 3 minutes, or turn off immediately if machine is out of balance. Note: If Start / Pause button is pressed to stop the spin cycle, the ‘U’ as described above will appear again and once machine finally stops spinning, will start to fill up with water again. Pressing power button takes you out of both of the modes described above.
I have not tested fully all the tests mentioned here so please don’t ask me what the tests t3-t7 do (they appear to be wash cycle tests only) or the other tests ‘UH’ or ‘L’. I’m not a washing machine mechanic. I’m just someone with a machine playing up who tried Spare Parts Pro suggestions at the top of this Thread and thought I’d share my observations for others to benefit from.

Can one set any freezer within my garage?

Many people run a refrigerator in their garage during the summertime to store extra cold drinks and such for parties and cookouts, but refrigerators are not designed to be in cold areas. If the temperature goes too low, you will cause excessive wear on the compressor. If you decide to leave it in the garage all winter, you should turn it off, clean it out, and leave the door slightly ajar. This will help prevent mold and mildew from accumulating in the refrigerator. If it gets too cold outside, depending on how your self defrost system is set up, it may not defrost well.


Garage Refrigerator Kit
The thermostat, located in the refrigerator part of the appliance, senses when the temperature rises above the set level and turns on the compressor causing the freezer to cool and pushing the cold air produced in the freezer part into the refrigerator part.

For a refrigerator located in the garage, where the air temperature gets much colder, the thermostat does not sense a rise in outside air temperature and therefore, never kicks the compressor on. Because the compressor does not come on, cold air is never produced in the freezer. The temperature in your freezer, therefor, begins to rise.

To prevent this from happening, install a garage refrigerator kit. The kit gets installed next to your refrigerator's thermostat and produces a small amount of heat which "tricks" the thermostat into thinking it is in a much warmer environment. The compressor turns on and allows the freezer to produce more cold air.

A garage refrigerator kit will provides the proper heat source to keep the refrigerator working properly while in very cold temperatures.
